Friendly family owned business serving great breakfast and lunches. Excellent service and lots of food choices. Large portions, I always have some to take home!!

We were so happy to go back to our favorite place and safely enjoy a lovely meal.

Huge servings of delicious comfort food, attentive wait staff, and extremely affordable prices. Also, all day breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Love this place. This is the hot roast pork. The hot roast beef is even better but you can't go wrong with either.

My new favorite place. Only been in Madison a couple weeks so completely dependent on Google maps. I had to get a replacement social security card for employment so searched for affordable restaurants that were near. This was one of MANY within a mile but chose it based on available pictures. Was concerned it would be a little pricey based on the interior, but everything was priced well within budget. The "homemade" chicken noodle soup and sandwich were the best I've had in awhile. I was looking for something simple for lunch. Will definitely be coming back with my boyfriend this time. :)

Very delicious food and cozy cafe vibes. Decent prices for the amount of food you get. I only had one bad experience here, but it was so frustrating it made me change my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars... I ordered a dish that was like an omelet except it was served over potatoes instead of eggs. The menu said that dish "comes with a side of american fries". I was not given any sides, just my potato dish. When I asked the waitstaff, I was told that the "side" of american fries was actually the potatoes in my dish, even though the menu specifically mentioned 2 different kinds of potatoes. I pointed this out to the waiter, who then called a seemingly more seasoned staff member to his aid who began talking to me in a very condescending tone about how I was wrong even though I was literally just reading off the menu. I was NOT impressed with the way they handled the situation - extremely unprofessional and rude. Not to mention, they should follow their own menu..... Very disappointed. :(

Very standard breakfast fare that is reasonably priced. Atmosphere is welcoming and the seating is comfortable. We experience good service.

Lots of breakfast options and way more food than you can eat. Coffee is good and breakfast for three was $30. Free convenient parking and awesome good service. Choose Copper Top when you want old fashioned wholesome cooking. Very busy Sunday mornings so plan accordingly!

Reliable, predictable diner food. Some Greek/Albanian options add interest. The coffee is not a strength.

Good breakfast. Party of two met for breakfast. I had the meat lovers scrambler with toast. My colleague ordered the eggs benedict and thoroughly enjoyed his. Wait staff could have been a little bit more attentive, however, they were very friendly. Overall positive experience and look forward to returning.

Good food but not the best tasting

Many groups gather here for breakfast because there's good service and good food priced right. And there's TVs here and there if that's your thing.

The food is good. The good looking red head muscular server that we had was rude as hell to the other customers. They didn't get all of their food that they ordered. The server won't simply apologized for the mistake. The customers asked for a deduction on their bill instead. He said that he can't do that and that is their policy" which is totally unacceptable. Then the manager/owner backed his server when he saw the pitiful amount of tip that the customer gave and said, "you know they work for tips right?" and walked away from the customer. I wouldn't give him any tip at all as rude as he was.This experience kind a ruined the food and experience on mother's day. I don't recommend this restaurant. To the server: you dont deserve to work in the service industry with the arrogant type of attitude that you have.

Food was good. Portions were fine. Seemed like a nice place. But don't over stay your time as they will stop refilling your coffee cup once the check is delivered.

LOVE Coppertop! Pleasant atmosphere--comfy and cozy. Wonderful employees and the food is always fabulous everytime we go! And, the prices are very reasonable. (they have the BEST burgers and french fries)! :)

Some of the best food in town!

Nice place, been in business a long time. Good serving sizes. Triple berry french toast was excellent. Irish skillet was good. Lots of melted mozzarella cheese on top of corn beef hash and hash browns. Pancakes were just ok. See pics

Great food and great prices! You won't go away hungry. I had the Greek omelet with gyros meat, feta, onions, peppers and tomatoes. So tasty. The hash brown potatoes were cooked to perfection, not too dry and not greasy. The perfect spot for brunch, we've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Fast, friendly service too.

Waitress was a sweetheart, I wish I had caught her name. My coffee was refilled at least 40 times by 3 different people. Give everyone a raise.

I come here every couple of weeks for Sunday morning breakfast. I love the feel of a family-run diner, with a big screen for any sports games that might otherwise impede brunch. The food is always excellent, they have an egg combo with a Polish sausage cooked deliciously. The coffee is good, the service is nice, I'd definitely recommend this for a chill breakfast or lunch.

Best diner in Madison! Try the eggs Benedict for breakfast, or the French toast combo. Nick and Bob rock!

I have been going here for a number of years. The people are very nice, the service great and there is plenty of seating. There are a lot of choices on the menu. My biggest complaint is that the food is consistently luke warm or cold.

Service and food were both excellent today. We explained we were on a schedule, and our server accommodated in multiple ways. Food was excellent, eggs prepared as the should be, and portions were generous. Coffee must be refilled by server, where I prefer a pot on the table, but that is the only thing I would tweak. Overall excellent place to breakfast.

This family diner is a true neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the food is tasty and well priced. Always seem to have rotating specials.

Lovely place. Never been here before and was pleasently surprised by the style of the restaurant and the service. The food was amazing and very filling. Would definitely come back if I'm back in town.

One of the cleanest restaurants ever. Local. Unique. Great service. Breakfast is $9.00ish per person. Decor is 1970's vintage.

This place used to be much better. Prices have gone up. Service and quality has gone down. Disappointed because we use to enjoy coming here because it was close.
